Arush Lal is a PhD candidate at the London School of Economics, researching the politics and governance of global health security and universal health coverage. He is currently an international consultant at PAHO/WHO, supporting access to medicines in COVID-19 response. He also serves as Board Vice Chair for Women in Global Health, pushing for gender equity and intersectionality in public health. Lal has policy, advocacy, and research experience in primary healthcare, health emergencies, and health systems strengthening.
