Query management is the ability in data collection systems to identify data entries with issues and isolate them into a report.
On Teamscope you can define validation rules for a single field, for example to specify a numerical range, as well as across fields to catch impossible combinations. Whenever a user enters a value that does not match the validation rules, a custom message is displayed. The user can choose to save and continue, or modify the information.
For every value saved that does not match the validation criteria the Teamscope platform creates a data query for further resolution.
Query management improves data accuracy because it allows project managers and study administrators to immediately detect and address data issues.
