Yes. The HIPAA law defines different types of entities (Covered Entities) and under that categorisation Teamscope falls under a Business Associate. HIPAA requires that Business Associate enter into a Business Associate Agreement (BAA). To meet this requirement we may sign with your compliance department or the principle investigator a Business Associate Agreement.
