On Teamscope you can easily add formulas inside your forms. This can be used to:

• Calculate a patient score or an index such as Body mass index (BMI)
• Determine the exclusion of a patient based on data that is entered.
• Provide automatic calculations that can make data entry for your team a lot easier.

Important: To use Formulas you will need to be on the Scale plan or above.

How to add a formula

To add a formula start by going to Forms on the web dashboard and selecting one of your forms.

Then scroll to the field where you wish the calculation to occur. Usually this is a number field but you can also add formulas in:

• Dates
• Choices
• Dropdown

Once you scroll to the field where you wish to add the formula click on Edit settings.

A dialog will appear with all of the settings you can have in that particular field.

Click on formula to expand that menu and then type your formula.

To reference another field in your form simply click on the brackets and a list of field will appear.

What operators are supported

For the moment you can use the following operators:

• Addition +
• Subtraction -
• Multiplication *
• Division /

If you need different operators in you formula please let us know and we happy to add them.

You can also use parenthesis in your formula.
